No More Fraidy Kat!

People who don't know me well think I might be a huge people person. I think we all want to be people-people...but the truth is we are a bit "fraidy cat"(Kat for me as some of my friends know me)when it comes to finding our place in a crowd or even one on one. We need not worry about what people will think if we seek to please our Lord.

For the Holy spirit, god's gift, does not want you to be afraid of people, but to be wise and strong, and to love them and enjoy being with them. II Tim. 1:7 TLB

So...I'm supposed to enjoy people! Oh...that's what the problem has been! I keep telling the ladies in bible study that I am an awesome Christian...until my feet hit the floor in the morning and I have to talk to people!

Guess I better work on this. You?

And Lord,
...whatever I fear most, I give to You; trusting that You will give me Your peace and courage.Holy Spirit, I ask you to help me with this In the precious name of Jesus.
Amen
AMEN

Hoping you too will be Wise and Strong and Just thinkin',

Kathy

I know exactly what you mean. I love Facebook, but I scored a -8 (out of 20 pts) on Hospitality in a Spiritual Gifts test at church. It is bad when you get back a negative number!! :/

One-on-one terrifies me. For that matter, people on FB intimidate me, but it is easier to fake it here. I love people, they just make me very, very nervous.
