Nothing New Under The SUN

Nothing new under the sun...when Richard was a little boy stationed with his parents (Mobile Pipeline) in Libya as Gadhafi overthrew King Idris. Richard was evacuated out on a helicopter to London...but only after watching a man being burned upside down in his overturned Fiat....this is NOT a peaceful situation....same song second verse....when we think this is a new battle we need only look at scripture...and he had to leave his Roy Rogers pistols and belt action toys behind!!!
It isn't about oil, it isn't about oppression, it IS about ultimately...Faith...Bible...Our LORD Jesus....and truths written in prophecy.

Ecclesiastes 1:9
9 What has been will be again,
what has been done will be done again;
there is nothing new under the sun.

Don't Be A FONZY!!!!

Finding you are holding a grudge? Someone holding one against you? What does the Bible say about that?

Don't be a Fonzy!!!! Just say it...whether to God or someone in your life....let's keep short accounts. Don't let the words get stuck in your throat. Let's practice together now....."I WAS WRONG!"

Three of the most freeing words on the planet.

I found it interesting that this scripture does not say if YOU HAVE SOMETHING AGAINST SOMEONE...but if you know someone has something against you....right or wrongly perceived...we are to go settle the matter. Trust God to help you with this process. It is not a suggestion in the bible it is a command.....let's try to be obedient. This harboring of anger or hate is likened to murder in this scripture. OUCH!

Matthew 5:21-26 (New International Version, ©2010)

Murder

²¹ “You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘You shall not murder,^{a]" [a]} and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.’ ²² But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister^b]" ^[c] will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’^{d]" [d]} is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.

²³ “Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, ²⁴ leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.

²⁵ “Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. What's Driving YOU?

Stopped at night at a CVS to get medicine....my mom said...look who's driving that car....I guess anyone can get a license around here!

Sometimes....things are NOT what they seem...when something in your circumstance does not make sense......check with the bible....wait to allow the real situation to come to light.

Duke apparently only has a learner's permit.....Mary drove the car to the pharmacy! So see, you can't always believe what you SEE but you can always trust GOD for the truth.
