A Gentle Answer:
Today's devotion scripture:
A gentle answer turns away wrath but a harsh word stirs up anger!
Proverbs 15:1
How many times have you whispered in response to someone yelling at you? Give it a try.
The next time your 3 year old is screaming in your ear tell him/her in a whisper, "I can't hear you very well unless you whisper!". You might just be surprised how quickly they calm down. We behave a lot like those around us. Do you have gentle answers to turn away wrath?
Just Thinkin'
